As a mother and advocate of a son with a high level cervical spinal cord injury who is unable to move or feel below his shoulders, Lisa brings hands on experience as it relates to the many challenges a quadriplegic faces.
Lisa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Hastings College and had an extensive career in Mortgage Banking followed by a brief career in Wealth Management where she obtained her Series 7 License.
She’s committed to providing support for those with spinal cord injuries to help them remain independent in their own homes as it relates to navigating insurance and other programs for eligible spinal cord individuals including accessibility, caregiver management, technology and mental health.
When she’s not helping her son manage his daily life or interviewing, scheduling, and managing his care partners, Lisa spends her time hiking in the Colorado foothills, traveling to Arizona with her husband or spending time in Southern California with her other son and daughter in law. Over the past few years, she’s hiked the Grand Canyon and traveled to Peru to hike Machu Picchu.
